Project Description
An event hall/pop music hall was built next to the existing Theater Markant. The entrance to the building was modified to create a connection between the theatre hall and the new pop music hall. A restaurant was also realized in the new building. Audience flows have been adjusted.

Our advice
- In team with project manager, architect, structural engineer and building systems consultant, drafting Program of Requirements, sketch design through to specifications and execution supervision during construction
- Consulting services: building physics, building acoustics, room acoustics, sound emission to the environment, fire safety, installation concepts and theater technology (sound, lighting, upholstery, infrastructure)
Result
The ideal event hall. From grand pop concerts, atmospheric business parties, fairs, dinners and company presentations to intimate gatherings. With creative solutions and clever (re)construction, this hall can be used very flexibly.
We also created a multi-year maintenance plan (MYMP) for Markant Theater Maashorst.
