Project Description
At the time: The current controls of the hoist – draw-wall of the large hall are increasingly malfunctioning, the current components have well exceeded the maximum service life and no longer comply with current regulations. The increasingly frequent malfunctions are endangering the operation of the system and the control system must be completely replaced. The other mechanical components are still adequate and will not be replaced. PBTA was commissioned by the Leidse Schouwburg to supervise not only the technical part but also the entire tendering process including the drafting of the tender guidelines, conditions and award criteria.

Result
The quickscan research of PBTA showed that it was not necessary to replace the entire installation, with the insertion of a new control system the installation again meets the current and upcoming regulations. PBTA was the first consultant in the Netherlands to use the new (upcoming) European standard (prEN 17206), therefore the client has a solid and future-proof installation.
