Project Description

Modifications to the interior of ‘De Blauwe Zaal’ (replacing the hall lighting with LED and installing a new telescope grandstand) will improve the appearance of the hall interior as a whole. These modifications affect the acoustics of the hall. The old acoustics of the hall are considered “good” for unamplified speech and music (including Andalusian house orchestra) and for performances with sound amplification. The premise is to preserve this type of acoustics, with the understanding that the flutter echo between the side walls will be eliminated.
