De Doelen – Rotterdam

We regularly perform consultancy work for De Doelen.
Recently, for example, the new seats in the Jurriaanse Zaal were delivered.
The Jurriaanse Zaal was also equipped with new LED hall lighting (dimmable hall lighting). PBTA was able to supervise both projects in their entirety. The result is impressive.

Because of its specific concert function, the stage of De Doelen Grote Zaal is equipped with various lifting stages that make it possible to give performances with various set-up options. Since their completion in 2009, the lifting podiums have shown various shortcomings such as instability and inaccuracy in height settings. In addition, the controls of the lifting podiums and lifting equipment are outdated and need to be partially replaced. On behalf of De Doelen, PBTA has performed a second opinion on the original design, the supplier’s replacement offer and any optimization possibilities present.
