Project Description
A cultural center in the Old State Shipyard “Willemsoord,” consisting of a theatre hall, a multipurpose hall, arts centre, offices and bar/restaurant. An MFA (multifunctional accommodation). The large hall was designed as a glass hall, which guaranteed the spatial experience of the monumental halls.
This hall is situated in the former boiler factory from 1920, which also houses the foyer. The so-called
Cathedral from 1916, former machining or banking shop, also fulfills a function in the theatre.

Result
“The client looks back with great pleasure on the cooperation in the context of the design and realisation of the technical theatre installations for De Kampanje,” according to the satisfaction statement received.
PBTA contributed in an outstanding way to the realisation of a modern technical theatre installation. That was no sinecure, because it had to be fitted into a very special building: in a cluster of national monuments, which had to be and were left as much as possible in their value.
The consultants succeeded in thinking along with us in an excellent way. Even during the architectural design they contributed ideas and provided valuable advice.
