Project Description

Bonbonnièretheater Concordia was renovated because it no longer met the needs and requirements of our time. The building is owned and maintained by the Real Estate Company of the Municipality of Enschede. The theatre and the two movie theatres have been refurbished, the comfort for the spectators has been improved and installations have been made future-proof. Both the mechanical and electrical installations have been adjusted; as well as part of the theatrical equipment and the architectural finish of the theatre hall. After bringing in digital film projection equipment and a new, greatly improved seating plan, the theatre auditorium is now set up in such a way that films can also be shown. Concordia programs about eighty theatrical performances per season and offers a continuous cinema house offer.
